One can expect that the Indian team will have learnt from its mistakes in the first match, and put up a better performance tomorrow. They will also have been better acclimatised by now to the New Zealand conditions, and that should help.
The New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori put in a brilliant display with the ball and was easily the best bowler of the match from either side. The Indian offie Harbhajan Singh also bowled very well. Both bowled quick and flat, making it that much more difficult to play shots. That may prompt India to rethink its team combination, though I don’t think it will ultimately happen.
